Encouragement
Encouragement – To give support and hope by raising one’s confidence with courage, strength, or belief.
A. God’s Word is always reliable when we need encouragement.

B. Discouragement – A feeling of no support and hope, a lack of confidence, courage, strength, and belief.
Things that cause discouragement
Disengagement from the church
Lack of purpose
Trusting in man’s ways instead of God’s.
Not knowing God’s word
C. Consider your source? What “Well” are you drawing from?
God’s word – You will be encouraged!
The World – You will be discouraged!
Areas we need encouragement in as followers of Jesus
To have “Faith” not “fear”!
To have Strength, Courage, and Confidence.
To Never Give Up!!!
Faith not Fear!
You have no authority over what you fear!
Authority – the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and
enforce obedience.
