He is reconciling all of creation back unto himself.
Our Identity and Purpose can be fully restored.
He is the HEAD of the Church.
Let’s Talk: Have you ever went into “The House of Mirrors” at a carnival? How did it distort the images reflected? How deceiving was some of the images?
Let’s Think: Colossians 1:15 says, “Jesus is the image of the invisible God.”
How can you reflect the image of God (clearly) like Jesus does?
Going Deeper: Only in Jesus can we have Healthy Identity and Divine Purpose.
How is the Image of God in us directly connected to our Identity and purpose?
Prayer: 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
This week in your prayer time: Be thankful for the work of the cross and how, through Jesus, you have been made new! Be thankful that through Jesus, the image of God has been restored in you. Pray that others will see Jesus in you, and desire to be transformed by Him.
Walk It Out: Take some time to examine your life by asking yourself the question, is Jesus over everything? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas in your life that Jesus is not over. Spend some time journaling what the Holy Spirit shows you. Ask God for Wisdom in how to release those things to Him. Then be obedient!
