Christmas Time 2020

It is that special time of the year – when the mere mention of Christ’s name brings out the best of who we are. But Jesus has a strange ability to do that to us – He comes to give us the best possible life (John 10:10).

We have been limited by how much we can celebrate Jesus together this year. 2020 has been the best of times and it has been the worst of times. We have seen our country in turmoil and have witnessed a pandemic that has taken the lives of so many. But it is Christmas, a time to allow Jesus to bring out the best of each one of our circumstances, and not allow those circumstances to dictate how we feel.

We are so glad that even though you may not leave your living room we can still celebrate Christmas as a church together. Here is what’s happening:

Friday, December 18th (6 pm to 8 pm)  – Christmas Family Photos. In the lobby or in your living room.

If you are staying in, take a pic in a Christmas hat or ugly sweater and post it to our Facebook page (Prizes for ugliest sweater or hat). If you are able to come into the lobby of the church, Hot Chocolate, treats and a family photo booth will be available. (Elon Coffee will be open)

Sunday, December 20th (9am and 11am) – Services will be running in the building and online. If you are online be sure to jump into the chat room and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. If you are in the building be sure to pick up a free hot chocolate and Christmas cookie. The Family Photo Booth will be available before and between both services. We will have a special guest with us (Jimmy “Fallen”) and an incredible Worship experience. Pastor Craig will be speaking in the final Sunday message of the year.

Important Information.

Church offices will be closed from Monday, December 21st to Tuesday, December 29th. Staff will return on Wednesday, December 30th to get ready for church in the new year and then offices will open Monday, January 4th.
