I. Matthew 17:14-21
A. Disciples had Twisted and unbelieving thinking.
B. Jesus heals the boy immediately!
C. Mark 9:14-16 TPT
1. Disputing with the scribes?!?
a. It never profits anyone to argue!
2. We see the boy’s violent reaction in the Mark account.
3. If you can believe, all things are possible!
a. Matthew adds, if you have faith, speak to the mountain part!
II. Faith!!!
A. Faith begins where the will of God is know!
1. Jesus is the will of God revealed!
B. Faith in God and His word is “Right Believing”!
C. Faith in anything else is “Twisted Believing”! “Perverted Thinking”!
D. Having intimate relationship with Jesus brings revelation. If Healing is not a formula, but a revelation, than healing comes by knowing Jesus.
E. Knowing Jesus isn’t a point in time, it’s a life lived in communion with Him.
F. The more we know Jesus, the more our thinking is untwisted!

III. You are anointed! (Divine empowerment to accomplish a task.)
A. 1 Cor. 1:20-22
1. We are anointed!
B. Eph. 3:20, 1 John 2:20
C. What task? John 14:12-14
1. The Works that Jesus did!
D. Well… I don’t feel anointed.
1. You are not supposed to feel it, you are supposed to know it!
IV. Praying for the sick!
A. Hang ups of praying for the sick.
1. I don’t know how to pray.
2. I didn’t say the right things.
3. Do I have to get loud and demonstrative?
4. Do I have to quote a lot of scripture?
B. Praying and not believing
1. Using the Lords name in vain!
a. without power and effect!
C. Pray simple
1. In Jesus name, be healed!
2. Disease go in Jesus name!
3. Pain leave in Jesus name!
D. If you are self-conscious about your prayer, you have made it all about you.
