If you are going to have Wisdom for Life you have to LIVE INTENTIONALLY.

You have to OPEN YOUR EYES to the ESSENTIALS OF LIFE.

MOMENTUM to any MOVE in GOD is RELATIONSHIPS.

MOMENTUM takes Constant Attention, Care and Wisdom.

HOW’S YOUR MOMENTUM IN THE LORD TODAY?

Descriptions of Lost Momentum:

Lost my Zeal…

Lost my Passion…

Frustrated and Depressed…

We are designed to be in motion!

John 4:25-35 NIV

25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”  26 Then Jesus declared, “I who speak to you am he.”

27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”

28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

31 Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.” 32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

35 Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

MOMENTUM is CONNECTED TO VISION.

NEARSIGHTED:

1. We get blinded to our own needs.

If God answered all my prayers would it change the world or just change me?

2. INSULATED

3. We get Away from the Heart of the ONE we SERVE AND LOVE!

In a RELATIONSHIP it’s NOT just about THEM LOVING ME BUT about ME LOVING THEM!

WE the Church exist for a BROKEN WORLD around us.

John 4:34-35 NIV

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

35 Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

Passion for God’s Work Requires:

1 Accept the Personal Responsibility.

Ephesians 3:10-13 NIV

10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

2 Corinthians 5:16-20 NIV

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

God expects US to IMPACT OTHERS in OUR WORLD.

2 We need to DEVELOP PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.

3. SHARE YOUR PERSONAL STORY.

Acts 1:8 NIV

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

It’s NOT telling them what is WRONG WITH THEM but telling them what was WRONG WITH YOU!

TELL YOUR STORY.

4. Give a PERSONAL INVITATION.

EVERYTHING BEGINS WITH AN INVITATION.
